Orange Cake | Super Easy Orange Cake Without Fail

Ingredients:


  • 210 g all-purpose flour

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • 250g sugar

  • Pinch of salt

  • 120 ml of milk

  • 2 eggs

  • Rinds of 2 oranges

  • 1½ to 2 oranges juice 

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

  • 110 g melted butter


Method:



  • 210 g all-purpose flour 

  • 1 tbsp baking powder 

  • 250g sugar 

  • A pinch of salt 

  • 120 ml of milk 

  • 2 eggs 

  • Rinds of 2 oranges 

  • 1½ to 2 oranges juice  

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence 

  • 110 g melted butter 



Method: 



  1. Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl. 

  2. Add milk, eggs, melted butter, vanilla essence and orange rind. Mix well. 

  3. Prepare baking tin with greaseproof baking paper. 

  4. Pour the mixture into a baking tin Bake at 180° C for 35 to 40 minutes. 

  5. Once the cake has completely cooled, poke holes all over the top with a wooden skewer. 

  6. Let it soak into the cake. 

  7. Use the juice of the orange as icing.
